A New Way to Car Wash
Professional car wash is an easy way for consumers to get their car cleaned. It consumes 35 gallons a car in average while doing car wash at home can consume a lot more water since the garden hose uses about 10 gallons per minute. Therefore, doing car wash yourself can use the water more than 100 gallons.
Recently, a new alternative for car washing is the waterless car wash. The waterless car wash contains many biodegradable environmental friendly chemicals to clean the car without using water. The car is clean and the water is save.
Let's see how it works!

Environmental Analysis
As defined by the Millenium Ecosystem assessment, ecosystem services are benefits that people obtain from ecosystems. These benefits include provisioning services, regulating services, and cultural services. The ecosystem we look at for this analysis, are the canals and rivers in Bangkok. The Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) in Bangkok depends solely on main surface water sources such as the Chao Praya and Mea Klong rivers for its water supply, and therefore we will take a closer look at these ecosystems.
Provisioning services include goods or products that are produced by the ecosystem. In our case, we identified that the rivers and canals in Bangkok provide us with water (for cleaning, drinking or agriculture), food and fish, plants and vegetation and also the possibility to implement aquaculture. In order to valuate these benefits obtained, we can use several techniques. Water, food and plants can be valued by looking at market prices or substitution prices of comparable products. Aquaculture can be valued by looking at added value created by other production methods.
In addition, we found that the rivers and canals in Bangkok provide us with regulation services. These are natural processes regulated by the ecosystem.
An important regulation service is the regulation of diseases. Human health, particularly risk of exposure to many infectious diseases, may depend on the maintenance of biodiversity in natural ecosystems. When the ecosystem is out of balance, this might cause to spread disease more easily. In addition, In some parts of Bangkok, poor sanitary conditions exist, which may be associated with water related diseases such as acute diarrhea.
In addition, the rivers and canals of Bangkok regulate sediment retention, which is important to for animal life and plants in the ecosystem. Other than that, canals and rivers in Bangkok are also responsible for waste processing, as a lot of waste and waste water is dumped here by industry and households. These services can be valued by looking at costs that are avoided or prevented from being necessary.
Lastly, the ecosystem of Bangkok also provides us with many cultural benefits. The most important benefit provided is recreation and ecotourism activities. Bangkok is known as ‘The Venice of the East’ as it has so many canals, which are used for several purposes. Floating markets on the canals are important tourist attractions, and also function as a trading place for locals. Next to this, Bangkok citizens and tourists both use the canals as a form of transport, using ferries to cross the rivers, or longtail boats to move along the river. Moreover, the rivers and canals also provide nice scenery.
Besides this, water also plays a cultural role in Bangkok. The Songkran festival is an important event in Thailand, as it celebrates the Thai New Year. The most common way of celebrating this event is the throwing of water. Water from the canals and rivers thus play a signifcant role in this cultural event. An example of a spiritual event, where water plays a key role, is Loy Kratong. During this event, citizens float offerings on the canals or river to thank the goddess, and ask for good luck for the coming year.

Technology Analysis
What technology do we have now for water conservation?
1.Bathroom Water Saver
A System captures water from the bathroom sink and filters and disinfects it to provide reused water for toilet flushing. The dotted sections ( ● ) of the system shows how each component contributes to water conservation and savings.
But it costly to install the system, Economic risk.
2. Household Waste Water Recycling Systems
Water that is used in the shower, bathtub, dishwasher, bathroom and kitchen sinks, and the laundry.
These water could be reused for a multitude of purposes, including
- Watering yards and gardens
- Irrigation field
which save as much as 70% of water by recycling waste water
3.Automatic Tap, infrared automatic sensor tap that help prevent water outflow, save water and money
4.Additional Devices
5.Rainwater Tank
Rainwater Tank is used to collect and store rain water runoff, typically from rooftops and can be used for many activities in household.

Legal Analysis
"Water right in water law refers to the right of a user to use water from a water source, e.g., a river, stream, pond or source of groundwater. In areas with plentiful water and few users, such systems are generally not complicated or contentious. In other areas, especially arid areas where irrigation is practiced, such systems are often the source of conflict, both legal and physical. Some systems treat surface water and ground water in the same manner, while others use different principles for each." - Wikipedia
"Human rights are "rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled."Proponents of the concept usually assert that everyone is endowed with certain entitlements merely by reason of being human. Human rights are thus conceived in a universalist and egalitarian fashion. Such entitlements can exist as shared norms of actual human moralities, as justified moral norms or natural rights supported by strong reasons, or as legal rights either at a national level or within international law. However, there is no consensus as to the precise nature of what in particular should or should not be regarded as a human right in any of the preceding senses, and the abstract concept of human rights has been a subject of intense philosophical debate and criticism." - Wikipedia
"Water and sanitation are essential for life, for health, for dignity, empowerment and prosperity. A human rights framework encompasses a broad spectrum from the rights based approach on the one side to the legal right to water at the other. The rights based approach promotes participation in and information about people’s access to decision making forums that affect their access to water, sanitation and hygiene services. The legal approach promotes national and international justifiable approaches that promote accountability and transparency and provide mechanisms to progressively realise increasing peoples access to water and sanitation." - www.righttowater.info
Regarding to our project context, we have no law or regulation on household water usage, only have several acts about water facility installation-maintenance, water bill calculation and some exempt of water bill towards some group of people ex. Retired veteran. So as from people right towards water usage, people tend to use water up to their desire and need because they have every right to use it. And regarding to people right to use water, no certain strict regulation on water usage and cheap rate of water consumptions, and these all caused the unwise and over use of water nowadays.
Future Pipe
Engineered Cementitious Composite
Engineered Cementitious Composite, or, bendable concrete, is a strong and flexible material that can be used in several applications. The material ingredients of engineered cementitious composite are similar to that of fiber reinforced concrete. Unlike the fiber reinforced concrete, the engineered cementitious composites do not include large volume of fiber. The engineered cementitious composites have a high fracture toughness. It has ability to self-seal the crack by getting wet. Water hydrates cement particles and helps the cement to forms many products to fill in the crack. This self-healing behavior not only seals the crack to prevent transport of fluids, but mechanical properties are regained.
The development of this engineered cementitious composite brings architecture and infrastructure industry to a new experience. However, the concept of self-healing material might also be applied to the water pipes around Bangkok, even better around the globe, to solve the problem or leaking pipes.
Pipes leakage not only causes a huge amount of water wasting overtime but also causes a country a fortune in order to inspect and repair water pipe across cities.
Small spot of leakage is the opportunity cost of water that can be used wisely and country economics.

Economic Analysis
In order to provide us water to use everyday, it requires not only natural water but also other energy resources and chemical inputs to go through process and become water we are using today.
Once we have used the water for our daily activities, the water become contaminated and used water flows down the drain.
New resources needed everyday to serve everyone’s needs. What we can do is to reuse the water to minimize the consumption. Water reuse helps us to become less dependent on groundwater and surface water sources and can decrease the diversion of water from sensitive ecosystems

PESTLE Analysis
PESTLE Analysis stands for "Political, Economic, Social, Technology, Legal, Environmental Analysis" and describes a framework of Macro-environmental factors used in the environmental scanning component of strategic management.
Political Factors, are how and to what degree a government intervenes in the economy. Specifically, political factors include areas such as tax policy, labour law, environmental law, trade restrictions, tariffs, and political stability. Political factors may also include goods and services which the government want to provide or be provided and those that government does not want to be provided
Economic Factors, include economic growth, interest rates, exchange rates and the inflation rate. These factors have major impacts on how businesses operate and make decisions.
Social Factors, include the cultural aspects and include health consciousness, population growth rate, age distribution, career attitudes and emphasis on safety. Trend in social factors affect a demand fora company's product and how that company operates.
Technological Factors, include technological aspects such as R&D activity, automation, technology incentives and the rate of technological change. They can determine barriers to entry, minimum efficient production level and influence outsourcing decision. Furthermore, technological shifts can affect costs, quality and lead to innovation.
Legal Factors, include discrimination law, consumer law, antitrust law, employment law, and health and safety law. These factors can affect how a company operates, its costs, and the demand for its products.
Environmental Factors, include ecological and environmental aspects such as weather, climate, and climate change, which may especially affect industries such as tourism, farming, and insurance. Furthermore, growing awareness of the potential impacts of climate change is affecting how companies operate and the products they offer, both creating new markets and diminishing or destroying existing ones.
And, moreover there are some risks concerning to our project accord to PESTLE analysis above. The closer to the center of the circle, the more influential of that risk to the problem, water conservation.
1. Regulation and Compliance
2. Cost Cutting
3. Maintaining Infrastructure
4. Managing Talent
5. Pricing Pressures
6. Social Acceptance Risk and CSR
7. Customer Demand Shifts
8. Shifting Demographics
9. Inability to Innovate
10. Resource Scarcity
11. Emerging Technologies
12. Energy Shocks
